 Originated in Suffolk and common throughout the UK between 17th and 18th Century, Hand Forged from solid bar these period latches are ideal for renovations, Period House Group have sold these suffolk latch sets for many years, the set comprises latch bar, spike and screw keeper, staple keep, slotted screws all items are beeswaxed. For bedroom or bathrooms we can supply a locking pin which prevents the latch bars from lifting. The size of the Suffolk Latch refers to the overall length of the latches. Traditional styles and techniques.
Latch sets are Hand Forged giving great detail, 
A coating of beeswax is applied while the metal is still hot this blackens and protects the finished job
The set comprise of thumb latch, latch bar with detail & securing stud, staple keep, door spike, slotted dome head screws. Bathroom lock pins or fishtail bolts are available

•  T Hinges are finished as above sold in pairs
   Lightly hammered on the edges and forged penny end.
   These hinges can return 90 degrees a benefit when fitting doors with architrive as the hinge plate can be set between the door as per butt hinges
  Strength is in the pin, these hinges have no play at all and the pin on the 15" is large enough for heavy oak doors, supplied with waxed slotted screws.
